Is this your dog?

The signs are subtle, until they aren't.

Most dog parents notice the slowdown long before anyone gives it a name. If any of these sound familiar, your dog is likely a candidate.

  • Struggling to get up after lying down
  • Wobbling, slipping, or starting to drag a back paw
  • Walks getting shorter — and less joyful
  • Hesitating at stairs, the car, the couch
  • Recovering from an ACL or CCL injury
  • Diagnosed with arthritis, IVDD, hip dysplasia or DM
  • Hind end swaying — trunk and postural muscles giving out

The one requirement: your dog can still stand up and walk, even badly. This system works with movement — it isn't a wheelchair, and it isn't for dogs who can no longer rise.

Why waiting costs so much

Every week you wait is muscle you don't get back.

A weak leg stops taking weight. The muscle that holds that joint starts to disappear. With less muscle, weight-bearing gets harder still. So the leg is used even less. That loop runs fast in an older dog, and it runs quietly.

The suit interrupts the loop. Because the sleeves resist and recoil in most phases of the stride, the leg keeps working while your dog simply walks around the house. Movement is the therapy. Which is why it has to start while your dog can still get up.

"The sooner we support those tired postural muscles, the more good days we get to give back." — Dr. Huma Pierce, DC

How it works

Not just support. Active rebuilding.

A passive brace holds a dog up. This one makes the legs do the work : three things happening at once, every step.

The sleeves

Active propulsion

Patented elastic sleeves built from aerospace-grade micro-spring textile load the limb on both phases of the stride: resistance on the way back, recoil on the way forward. They act as a second layer of muscle around a weakened leg. Front, back, or both.

The vest

Core & spinal stability

Mobility starts at the trunk. The vest stabilizes the core and spine - the foundation the legs push against, so your dog can compensate safely instead of swaying, slipping and bracing against a fall.

The result over time

Neuromuscular re-learning

Repeated resistance and recoil feeds the cerebellum the signal it's been missing, helping it re-learn proper leg-lift and gait timing. Coordination and strength improve with use, not only while the suit is on.

Honest comparison

Wheelchair, wrap, or this.

Each of these does something different. Here's where the Dynamic Mobility Suit actually sits.

Dog wheelchair Passive brace / wrap Dynamic Mobility Suit
What it does Carries the dog's weight for them Immobilises or compresses a joint Active resistance and recoil on every stride
Effect on muscle Legs keep weakening from disuse No active loading Conditions the limb with each step
Stairs & furniture No, has to be lifted out Limited Yes! The dog moves independently
Indoors, all day Bulky, needs supervision Usually fine, but mild to moderate wasting still occurs Light, breathable, machine washable. The dog continues it's normal life

"The brace fills the gap when core stability isn't where it needs to be."

Dr. Bianca Shaw, DVMRehabilitation veterinarian · 35+ years · tested the system in clinic over 5 years

Her point: it's useful anywhere there's orthopedic lameness that a dog can't compensate for because the core is too weak to help. That's the root cause, not the symptom. The vest recreates the core and the sleeves keep the dog walking by exercising the legs independently.

Find the right fit

Three measurements. That's it.

The set is named A·B·C because those are the only numbers we need from you. Use a soft cloth tape, stand your dog naturally, and measure loosely.

Diagram showing the three measurements: chest girth, collar to mid hips, and mid hips to below the knee
A

Chest girth

All the way around, just behind the front legs. Snug to the skin without compressing fur or restricting the breath.

B

Collar to low back

Along the spine, from the collar to the mid hips. Follow the spine, not the tail.

C

Low back to knee

From the highest point of the low back down to just below the knee. This sets the sleeve length.

The one rule: when in doubt, size up.

The vest has a built-in length shortener under the logo, so a size that's slightly big adjusts down. It never works the other way. Correctly sized sets are where the 97.9% figure comes from: which is exactly why the fitting is free. Our mission is to reduce the number of unnecessary euthanasias in the world. This is how we do it.

About the price

Yes, it's a real investment.

When Cooper injured two discs in his back, the emergency vet quoted Dr. Pierce $14,000 to "explore his spine," on top of ongoing rehab, drugs and shots. That quote is the reason this product exists.

$365
One-time set, two free vet visits, 7-day fit & function guarantee

It's one purchase that lasts, machine-washes, and adjusts as your dog gets stronger. Pet parents describe it as buying back good days, not buying a garment.

Our underdog story

It started with a little dog named Cooper.

Dr. Huma Pierce sitting on a bench at the beach with her dog

In 2018 my Cooper injured two discs in his back, just lifting a leg to pee. He over-rotated, rolled down a hill, and started dragging a leg behind him. I still remember the fear that kicked me in the chest.

I couldn't accept the prognosis. After 27 years as a chiropractic physician specialising in biomechanics, I asked the clinic for a gentle dynamic back brace; something that would stabilize him while still letting him move. They didn't have one. The only options were more drugs, more shots, surgery.

So, I rolled up my sleeves. Seven years, 384 prototypes, four veterinary consultants and a physicist later... plus countless nights at my mother's old sewing machine,  the dynamic mobility bracing system was born. Dr. Shaw DVM tested every iteration in her rehab clinic until it worked.

Cooper got nearly 20 years, and we laid him to rest in 2025 at his favourite beach. He got those years because I acted right away. If your senior is starting to slow down, starting to drag a paw, starting to struggle to rise, please don't wait.

Before you order

Questions we get every day.

How soon will I see a difference?
Most parents know within days, that's why the adjustment window is 7 days. Improvements in gait symmetry and confidence usually build over the first few weeks as the muscle re-conditions. Piper's family saw uneven-ground walking return; D.S. went from one block to a mile in three weeks. Every dog is different.
What if I order the wrong size?
You almost can't ; a doctor sizes your dog with you on Zoom before you order, for free. If it still isn't right, we exchange it fast. And the rule of thumb is simple: when in doubt, size one up, because the vest's length shortener adjusts a bigger size down. The sleeves need to be in the ranges.
Is this a wheelchair replacement?
No, and we won't pretend otherwise. This is for dogs who can still stand and walk, even with knuckling. It works by making the legs do the work, so there has to be movement to build on. If your dog can't get up at all, a cart is the right product, not this.
Do I need a prescription or a vet referral?
No. It's the first sleeve-based dynamic resistance system available without a prescription. We'd still recommend looping in your own vet or rehab vet for usage guidance, and we can help you find a veterinarian advocate near you. They can measure and fit, sometimes they have special discount codes.
My dog is a tripod / a squatty German Shepherd. Will it fit?
Yes. Alongside 9 standard sleeve lengths there are Tripod Short, Tripod Medium and a Severe Squatty sleeve built for short-angled back legs; German Shepherds, Dobermans, Boxers. With 12 vest sizes and 13 sleeve lengths, the range runs Teacup to Great Dane.
How long should my dog wear it each day?
Start short and build up. The sweet spot is waking and active hours; walks, playtime, moving around the house. It can be worn 12 hours if your dog gets real benefit from it, but don't push past tiredness, especially in the first week. You know your dog; gauge accordingly. Sleeves should be removed at night.
Where is it made, and how do I wash it?
Vests are sewn in Vancouver, Washington; sleeves are made in Conover, North Carolina. Both machine wash and dry, permanent press. The mesh belly panel keeps your dog cool lying on grass.
How fast does it ship?
US shipping options are 1–2 day ($57.95), 3–5 day ($35) and 5–8 day ($20) via USPS or FedEx. Payment through Shop Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and all major cards . We don't store any financial information.
