My boy Gus is a 9 1/2 year old German Shepherd with some mobility difficulty from hip stiffness and (I believe) neurological damage caused by an injectable arthritis “remedy” that was recommended to help with that (see: Librela). I learned about the Lucky and Loyal mobility brace and decided to give it a try. The company’s website information is outstanding, including the instructions for measuring the dog to achieve a proper fit. I ordered the vest and rear sleeves, and received them in a very sort time. We fitted the rig to Gus, and were immediately pleased with the results. After some trial-and-error fitting of the sleeves, Gus was moving around much better, bouncing around and frolicking like his younger self. At no time did he resist the brace; rather, he appeared to be absolutely comfortable with it. Gus now wears his brace whenever we go on “patrol” around our nine-acre property, and he can once again cover the whole place. So…I give two thumbs up for the Lucky and Loyal mobility brace for its function. Now…if the vest were only a bit easier to fit on a 95 pound GSD, I could give it THREE thumbs up. Perhaps a zipper, velcro or strap closure under the chest to facilitate easier fitting and adjustability?

I purchased the brace for my German Shepherd and its made a noticeable difference. The brace is well-constructed, supportive, and fits securely.

My GSD's been able to move naturally and doesn't seem to be bothered by it, and an added plus with me having peace of mind now. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, well-made brace to help their dog move around comfortably.

The Lucky and Loyal brace has helped 15 year old Piper, our Australian Cattle Dog, with his mobility. He is able to walk on uneven dirt paths without falling over, getting up from lying down quickly, and his right hind leg is not tripping him anymore. His hind legs are, indeed, getting stronger.
Piper is, finally, getting the support he needs and his gait has improved dramatically.

My 13 year old Golden lab mix was having trouble getting up from laying down, walking and doing stairs. He had a torn ACL and at his age we did not wish to repair it surgically. We would have to use a lift to help him up the stairs at night. He was gaining weight from in activity, getting very weak and his quality of life was really suffering. I tried yoga matts and other braces and nothing seemed to help. I stumbled upon the Lucky and Loyal brace while looking for braces one night and decided to give it a chance after reading reviews.
He took to the brace right away with no problems and it was easy to put on and take off. He wore it all day long and then we took it off at night.
With in a week he was getting so much stronger that he could get up and do a few stairs without the vest! Within 3 weeks he went from being able to walk a block to happily walking a mile! This brace is amazing and is worth every penny.
Unfortunately, Dilbert had a tragic GI event and passed away shortly after starting to use this (totally unrelated to the brace!). I don't regret it though as his last few weeks he was so happy being able to get up and walk again. I have no doubt that with time he would have gotten even stronger. I highly recommend this brace for any dog that has leg issues.

We have a 10yr St Bernard who was unfortunately loosing her rear leg's ability to stand and walk due to severe arthritis. She could barely lift her rear legs and would drag them on the ground when she had the strength to move. We started using steroids alongside the dynamic support vest and bracing sleeves in hopes that anything would work. She has made a complete recovery and is walking again! She's even able to completely lift her feet off the ground without dragging them at all.

I can’t say enough good things about Lucky & Loyal and their amazing team—especially Dr. Huma Pierce. We ordered a refurbished brace for our pup but completely messed up the measurements, and what arrived was much too small. Trust the process! Dr. Pierce is amazing! We received Ashley's vest and severe sleeve on 6/9/25 and put it on for the first time 6/10/25. These sleeves are helping our German Shepherd who has a neurological disease called Degenerative myelopathy (DM) which is equivalent to Lou Gehrig’s ALS in humans. So we tried the wheelchair and the boots, but these braces work so much better to stabilize her worsening condition. I highly recommend these braces if your dog has DM.

Purchased support vest about a month ago. At first, I thought my Shepherd was not going to like wearing the vest but surprisingly enough she absolutely enjoys it. It’s like she knows it’s helping support her mobility. She even Sleeps with the vest on. The vest has helped her mobility tremendously. Before the vest, all she would wanna do is just lay down, barely move. You could tell she was in pain and uncomfortable. After we purchased the vest. I’d say about three days later it took her some time to get used to it. She loved it. Her mobility is way better. She’s wanting to play more. We can’t get her to come inside. She wants to be outdoors all day chasing the squirrels. This thing has been a game changer for my 13 year old German shepherd. Thank you so much for creating this amazing vest.

Our golden retriever had an Fibrocardilagenous embolism in her spine when she was four. Her left leg came back within a week but the right leg was slower. They said she would be able to do whatever she likes to do and they were right for seven years. She always walked with a hop along gait but it didn’t slow her down. She is eleven now and her right leg was getting weaker and the left hip was showing wear from years of compensating for the right. She doesn’t like new things so we held our breath as we put in on before a walk. She didn’t want to walk; she wanted to run! I was in tears seeing how happy she was to be able to run again. She had started knuckling under and the brace eliminates that. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

We are coming up on a month since the brace has arrived and I cannot believe how great it has worked for my 75 pound (almost) 14 year old boy! My dog had a Librela injection for his severe arthritis and unfortunately had a bad neurological reaction that made him extremely unstable in his back legs. This brace has been amazing in bringing back that stability while also helping him regain muscle that atrophied from the arthritis. My dog is now able to make it all the way down the street and back on our walks again (~20mins) and is no longer falling in the house. We leave the brace on him pretty much 24/7 and he does not mind at all. I love that the brace is adjustable so we can increase/decrease the resistance as needed. Plus it is super easy to clean by just throwing it in the washing machine. Thank you for creating this and giving my dog some extra (QUALITY) time!

So glad I came across this product! It really works and has given my German Shepard the ability to walk again without falling.  We had previously bought another brace and even though it helped some,  our GS would still have a hard time getting up.  In addition he also had a hard time sitting and laying down,  it got to the point that it would be easier for him to spin and fall.  Hearing him fall was so devastating for us and I'm sure painful for him.  We had cushions all over because we were afraid he would break a hip.

When I saw this brace, I was nervous about purchasing it, what if it didn't work? We decided to take a "leap of faith" and purchased the brace.

Well we are so glad we did!  Within 1 day, Wolf was able to stand and walk with confidence.  I'm no longer afraid of leaving our home and wonder if he is ok or not.

His walking has improved tremendously and he is no longer falling and hitting his hip.  He is also able to walk and stand for longer periods of time and enjoys going to the backyard more.  Thank you so much Dr. Pierce for creating this brace and sharing the product with us, Wolf is enjoying life again!  In fact we had to order another brace for our second dog.  Looking forward to seeing the same results with him as well.

My Tank, a 13 year old Belgian Malinois was really starting to slow. After an our walks, he would often drop his hips and barely walk. Jumping out of the car was especially frightful. His breeder suggested getting wheels, but I know my boy- he’s just too proud for wheels. I looked and researched and I guess all of the looking online, fed algorithms to load Lucky And Loyal to pop up in my feed.
I hemmed and hawed and delayed my purchase. Trying to figure out how to budget helping the best boy. I pulled the trigger with the Black Friday sale.
I tried the braces before Christmas and was so heartbroken. Tank didn’t want to use them. He was dragging his hips and just not participating. I gave it a break.
New Year, new attempt! We walked 1.7 miles New Year’s Day at our favorite park. It was slow go, and quite the workout he took plenty of sit breaks, but we persevered! Day two and he was a master. I’m am so hopeful, I feel as though we have a second chance.

We saw the brace on the neighborhood app and by coincidence, Dr. H lives down the street from us. We purchased the brace for our 12 year-old 80 pound lab/pointer mix - Ben - who is having a hard time walking.
Dr. H delivered the brace personally and helped show us how to put the brace on correctly. It is super easy to manage and Ben immediately walked in the brace.

We are VERY excited on receiving our Lucky and Loyal mobility brace set, our 14 year old black lab Jack has not been able to go for his nightly walk in over a month now due to his aging/aching joints... Dr. Pierce worked with me to find the correct size for Helen. She lost the ability to use her back legs. We are working on finding the cause and doing different therapies. She hated the wheel chair I bought for her. She isn't doing zoomies yet, but I believe with some practice she will be on her way. We just started using the brace and I know it will help her! She doesn't object to wearing it at all.

Mochi is 15 years old and has been having weakness in her hind legs for some time now. She is still so full of spunk, I was looking for a way that she would feel steady again and enjoy more activity. This has been an amazing brace. She is standing straighter, walking around more, and just generally moving so much better. She even has fallen asleep wearing the brace and didn't want me to take it off. I also noticed she is walking around the house a lot more when wearing the brace and just generally being engaged.
